A few thoughts (which may or may not be stating the obvious) -
I take it you're not relying on Flickr or anywhere else to keep the only copy of pictures? There are people who had trust in Fotopic before it went pop...
Flickr will still allow 1,000 pictures on a free account, so is it worth hanging on to the account in case you change your mind, rather than deleting everything? I'm not sure what happens if you go from paid for to free if you have over 1,000 pictures - whether the excess ones are deleted, or just hidden in the hope that you'll pay up again at some point in the future, or what choice you have about which ones do stay visible.

Instagram is an option.
You can use VPN to trick Flickr into making multiple free accounts for yourself and store those images.

Instagram is an option. You can use VPN to trick Flickr into making multiple free accounts for yourself and store those images. Just use the Tor Browser. No need to use VPN then. Regularly comes top in privacy tests.
