Just catching up on the show! Do all electric buses have the fake bus noise? I am sure the 69 Ee’s don’t but could be wrong?

Yes all EV's including the WHD's and Arriva HT's IIRC are fitted with the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alert System) which is meant to alert short sited people a bus is coming. Yes all EV's including the WHD's and Arriva HT's IIRC are fitted with the AVAS (Acoustic Vehicle Alert System) which is meant to alert short sited people a bus is coming. I wonder if any will be retrofitted like with the ISA devices. |

I think it may be due to the mirrorless cameras though surprisingly the 364 enviro mmc and the smart hybrids with the 425 and 25 doesn't make that sound. (Or at least I haven't heard them make that sound) |
