Northcord has announced that it is to relaunch two of its former casting ranges, the Alexander Dennis Ltd Enviro400 (original version, not MMC or City) and the Scania Omnicity double decker. This will increase the number of operators and liveries that will be depicted on these two model types.
The new range of Enviro400s will be numbered in a new UKBUS 6200+ series following on from the original 6000+ series. Similarly the Omnicitys will be numbered in a new UKBUS 9500+ series following on from the original 9000+.

It carries a replication of the heritage WMPTE (West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive) livery that was applied to the real vehicle in 2019 and is portrayed on route 67 to Brirmingham via Tyburn Road. This model was released in August 2023. UKBUS 2602 is Stagecoach Bluebird long-wheelbase Alexander-Dennis Enviro400 19377 (OO05 BLU, originally SV58 BNB). It carries the retro Stagecoach Stripes livery that was applied to the real vehicle in 2022; interestingly the roof was not repainted due to Health & Safety concerns and remains traces of the standard Beachball livery - this is replicated on the model. That’s nice, do you know if it based at Q? I always see it come from the direction of AL in the mornings on Garratt Lane (nostalgia as all three routes were allocated these at one point  ) |

Should be out, along with 12345, next month. Lots of potential excitement in the model world in 2024. Bachmann/EFE Road are promising more models, as are Model Bus Company - I believe another swathe of announcements are due from them next month. Less good from Corgi - they have announced they will not be producing any new bus models in 2024 apart from commissions (eg the MBC). On a personal wish list - I think it’s time for a selection of E200MMCs. Think of the myriad of liveries! |

That’s nice, do you know if it based at Q? I always see it come from the direction of AL in the mornings on Garratt Lane (nostalgia as all three routes were allocated these at one point ) To be honest i'm not sure but I do know that sometimes a trainer bus can be at another garage for the day. |

This has now been released by Northcord. It is indeed Stagecoach Enviro400H 12144, depicted on route 15 to Regent Street (yellow-on-black blinds) and complete with yellow side advert frames and green seats inside. UKBUS6203 is a Limited Edition of 1,008 models. |

Northcord is also producing a model of Ensignbus 123 (SN59 AVW) which will be UKBUS0073, available during the Summer.
Also being prepared are UKBUS6205, National Express West Midlands 4722 (BU07 LGY) in a heritage livery; and UKBUS6206 which will be Reading Buses 1208 (GO11 LON) in Green Line Livery - one of five liveries (and three registrations) that this vehicles has carried since new!
There are some more Enviro400 MMC models coming too, although Northcord has sadly suspended development work on the Enviro400 City castings.

Two new Stagecoach London liveried models have been officially announced:
* Ukbus 0075 as Scania Omnicity 15041 on the 97 to Stratford City, with new Stagecoach logos
* Ukbus 0077 as Scania Omnicity 15042 on the 97 to Chingford Station, with old Stagecoach logos
Ukbus 0078 Scania Omnicity will be available in plain London Red, ie no operator livery
