Though in the case of the 384, the extension at the western end is hiding a 40% + drop (adjusted for covid) on the eastern section between Barnet Everyman Cinema and Cockfosters, which is the section that had many parts removed. I still can't ever see TfL's ambition that 'passenger numbers increase by a third' overall on that route coming true. So it is necessary to look within an individual route as well for the true picture.
