Pathetic comment. And in contrast to Boris sticking by Chris Pincher, Keir Starmer straight away slung this guy out of the party and forced him to resign his seat. Firm and speedy discipline of wrongdoing unlike the Tories.

No more pathetic than some of the comments about Boris and it was an independent panel that suggested that he be suspended before he subsequently resigned, no mention of Keir Starmer doing anything.

Kier Starmer could have tried to intervene & change the parliamentary rules, like Boris Johnson attempted to do over Owen Paterson. It is a sad state of political affairs to say someone doing nothing is good, but given the direct comparison in cases, I will take Kier being neutral over a fiddling of the rules by Boris any day.

I'm sure capitalomnibus can answer for himself but I wouldn't class myself as "a tory" but more of a floating voter. I have voted Labour before and I may possibly do so again in the future, just not at the present time. I'd rather take an open minded view than be wedded to one particular party and I would imagine most voters are the same?

Had a feeling it wouldn't be long until one of the Tories came here attempting to defend themselves. Imagine the rest will be along shortly. The government is in chaos and there's better things to do than take swipes at the party that's actually gaining the favour of the people.

It is quite a strange old situation with Labour blocking the typically "left" potential candidates from standing , However to appeal to more voters they needs to have more "centrist" candidates standing and appeal to a wider audience , unfortunately though people's brains both on the left and on most definitely on the right seem to of left their minds as it's more like how people support football teams now blindly defending the indefensible and cannot see literally any wrong that their party does sad and strange times we live in .

Good, I am sick of these people who are working the press using the media as their own personal platform. The same like one or two idiots that did the same when it was for leave or remain. Martine Croxall: BBC News presenter being investigated over impartialityPresenter Martine Croxall is being investigated by BBC News for a "potential breach of impartiality".www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63376310
