Not sure on allocations, but believe 720 has to be single decker due to a low bridge. This is from the latest route record I have : SINGLE DECK BUSES ONLY – LOW BRIDGE (14’ 3”) AT EASTBURY ROAD, BUSHEY, LOW TREES IN CARPENDERS PARK The odd thing with this bridge is that many years ago full height double deckers used to pass under it. LT / London Country routes 346 and 347 used Eastbury Road with their RTs and RMLs, and in fact this took place again with Routemasters during a running day eight years ago. Looking on Google Street View the bridge has been signed as 14ft 3 since at least 2008 (the large "Low bridge" writing is more recent however) so it was apparently overlooked at the time, though for a similar event the following year only single deckers ran that way. All this makes me wonder how long the bridge has been signed as such and why it was altered - I can only assume it was found that there wasn't enough of a margin? Not actually done that route yet, all I know is that when we've had it in recent times its been strictly single decker, guessing the risk isn't worth it

Does that mean LNR will make an additional stop at Wembley Central during the week? Conveniently the new timetable has the off peak frequency of Harrow & Wealdstone stoppers double from 2tph to 4tph on Monday to Saturday. From December, LNWR will stop serving Wembley Central completely, as they’ll be running longer trains (12 cars) on services and it appears the 350’s aren’t fitted with SDO, so the stop has been dropped, which for me as been a god send over the years, but since Covid, LNWR silently dropped the Wembley stop on of the 2 tring stoppers during the day off peak and after the evening peak. Yes those 350s don’t have SDO. In the past, on 8-car services, only the front 4 coaches had their doors open. The 377s on southern services have SDO so opened the front 7 coaches on 8-car services

The entire London Overground line between London Euston and Watford Junction will close for a week, from Saturday 17th through to Friday 23rd December. The Bakerloo Line will also be suspended between Queen's Park and Harrow & Wealdstone. During the closure, around 6,000 wooden sleepers dating back to the 1950s will be replaced with concrete sleepers, and around 10km of signalling cable will also be replaced. The power supply to the Overground and Underground will be upgraded, as will the drainage between Harlesden and Kenton, and a derelict substation will be demolished to prevent it collapsing onto the tracks. During the closure, passengers will be advised to use National Rail services serving Watford Junction, Bushey, Harrow & Wealdstone, Wembley Central and London Euston; to use Underground services at Harrow-on-the-Hill, Northwick Park, Preston Road and Wembley Park, or use the following rail replacement bus services that will operate during the closure: Route 718: Queen's Park to Harrow & Wealdstone calling at Kensal Green, Willesden Junction, Harlesden (Town Centre), Stonebridge Park, Wembley Central, North Wembley, Preston Road, Kenton Route 719: Queen's Park to Harrow & Wealdstone calling at Kensal Green, Willesden Junction, Harlesden (Town Centre), Stonebridge Park, Wembley Central then fast (operates at certain times only). Route 720: Harrow & Wealdstone to Watford Junction calling at Headstone Lane, Hatch End (Harrow Arts Centre), Carpenders Park, Bushey, Watford High Street The line will also be closed from Saturday 11th through to Sunday 19th February 2023. Some extra info: Some London Northwestern Railway services will stop additionally at Wembley Central during the Overground closure. A reduced service will operate on the Bakerloo Line between Queen's Park and Elephant & Castle as there will be no access to and from Stonebridge Park Depot.

Dumb question but I’ll ask it anyway - do you have to pay to board these routes or are they just waving people on board?
