Best thing for both parties really and ETH has shown that nobody is bigger than the club although I'm not sure where Ronaldo goes from here.

He should have never went back to Man Utd, I see he tried to help them last year by going their instead of Man City, but that was a big mistake. Plus with his ego, he probably has blacklisted himself from many major clubs.

I don't think Manchester City were seriously interested in him, the whole thing was engineered by his agent to pretty much force the Glazers into signing him.

I think Ronaldo will go to the US or retire after the World Cup. His ego can’t handle not being the best anymore and no decent club that can afford him in Europe will go anywhere near him.
He did a great job for us in his first stint and even last season. This season it hasn’t worked out on the pitch. Ten Hag has given him chances, but he hasn’t taken them. He crossed the line by leaving games early and refusing to come on as a sub. The interview was good for the club as it gave legal grounds to terminate his contract without paying out the rest of his contract. We really didn’t want a Gareth Bale.
Now we’re reading that the Glazers will potentially sell the club? Feels like Christmas come early. Let’s see what happens and who they sell it to, if at all. Jeff Bezos with a deal for games to be shown live on Amazon Prime will do for me 🤣
