Easter weekend - Friday 7th, Saturday 8th, Sunday 9th and Monday 10th April - major changes
ELIZABETH LINE
There will be NO services between Abbey Wood and Paddington, or between Stratford and Paddington, for the entire Easter weekend - Friday 7th to Monday 10th April.
A reduced train service will operate between Paddington Main Line Station and Heathrow Airport or Reading.
Trains will operate between Liverpool Street Main Line Station and Shenfield, not serving Whitechapel.
LONDON EUSTON
There will be NO services in an out of London Euston for the entire Easter weekend - Friday 7th to Monday 10th April. The main lines will also be closed between London Euston and Milton Keynes during this time.
London Overground services will continue to operate between Kilburn High Road and Watford Junction.
Avanti West Coast services will operate north of Milton Keynes Central only, to revised timetables.
London Northwestern Railway services will operate between Milton Keynes Central and Birmingham New Street or Stafford.
Caledonian Sleeper services will be diverted to and from London Kings Cross and will not serve Watford Junction.
Rail Replacement buses and coaches will operate between Watford Junction and Milton Keynes Central. Some early morning and late night journeys will operate to and from Euston. Rail replacement buses will also operate between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey.
LONDON VICTORIA
There will be NO Southern or Gatwick Express services in and out of Victoria for the entire Easter weekend - Friday 7th to Monday 10th April - and the lines will be closed between London Victoria and East Croydon.
Most longer-distance services will be diverted to and from London Bridge or will terminate at East Croydon.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Clapham Junction and East Croydon, calling at West Croydon to provide connections. Some early morning and late night journeys will be extended to and from Victoria.
SOUTHERN RAILWAY SUBURBAN SERVICES
Due to the closure of London Victoria and diversion of longer-distance services to London Bridge, over the entire Easter weekend limited suburban services will operate between Streatham Hill and Sutton via West Croydon, London Bridge and Caterham/Tattenham Corner, and between Selhurst and Epsom Downs.
Services between East Croydon/Clapham Junction and Watford Junction will also be suspended.
Rail tickets will be accepted on alternative London Underground routes between Victoria and London Bridge or Balham, and on London Underground and Overground between London Bridge and West Croydon/Crystal Palace via Canada Water.
CHILTERN RAILWAYS
No service between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and London Marylebone via Amersham from Friday 7th to Monday 10th April.
replacement buses will operate between Aylesbury Vale Parkway and Amersham , continuing to and from Beaconsfield for train connections to and from London Marylebone. Metropolitan Line services will be operating between Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill only.
LONDON CHARING CROSS AND WATERLOO EAST
These stations will be closed on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th April only. Suburban services will be diverted to and from Cannon Street whilst longer-distance services to and from Ramsgate, Dover Priory and Maidstone East will be rerouted into Victoria.
SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAY
Services in the London area are generally unaffected, however on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th buses will replace trains between Hounslow and Windsor & Eton Riverside/Weybridge via Staines. A shuttle train service will operate between Virginia Water and Reading.
From Friday 7th to Monday 10th the lines will be closed between Woking and Winchester/Andover with rail replacement buses operating - GWR's Reading-Basingstoke route will also be closed on these dates. Through trains between London Waterloo/Woking and Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth will continue to operate, using an alternative route.
GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY
Services in the London area are unaffected.
From Friday 7th through to Monday 10th April the line from Reading to Westbury via Newbury will be closed. Through trains between London Paddington/Reading and Westbury, Taunton, Exeter St Davids, Plymouth and Cornwall will continue to operate, to a revised timetable. Rail replacement buses will operate between Reading and newbury/Bedwyn, and a special rail replacement shuttle bus will operate between Swindon and Pewsey.
From Friday 7th through to Monday 10th April the line between Reading and Basingstoke will also be closed, rail replacement buses will operate.
GOSPEL OAK - BARKING RIVERSIDE
No service on the entire line on Sunday 9th April only. Rail replacement buses will operate Gospel Oak-Seven Sisters and Walthamstow Central-Barking. Passengers can also use any reasonable alternative Underground or bus route.
No service between Barking Riverside and Woodgrange Park on Monday 10th April only, rail replacement buses will operate between Barking and Woodgrange Park (uses buses EL1/EL2/EL3 between Barking Riverside and Barking). A reduced 30-minute service will operate between Woodgrange Park and Gospel Oak.
