The 326 extension is really good. Maybe they should extend 186 to Brent Cross West also to support 326 from Brent Cross West because at the moment TFL have refused to extend 189 to Colindale. Colindale to Marble Arch is a bit of a stretch Although route 113 being Edgware to Marble Arch is longer.

Colindale to Marble Arch is a bit of a stretch Although route 113 being Edgware to Marble Arch is longer. But then the 113 serves some fast 40/50mph roads and dual carriageways, almost faster than some of the SL routes! The 189 goes through a lot of hotspots already

ROUTE 189 REROUTED VIA BRENT CROSS WEST STATION - FROM SATURDAY 17 FEBRUARY From Saturday 17 February route 189 will be rerouted to serve the recently opened national rail station Brent Cross West.
Route 189 will continue to run between Brent Cross Shopping Centre and Marble Arch 24 hours a day 7 days a week. However, buses will be rerouted in both directions to serve Brent Cross West Station by double running from Claremont Road via Parkview Avenue to the eastern entrance of Brent Cross West Station before u-turning to return via Parkview Avenue back to Claremont Road. All current bus stops on route 189 will continue to be served. At Brent Cross West station route 189 will serve both bus stops AA and BB in both directions.
Once completed, route 189 will be rerouted further to serve the roads of the currently under construction Brent Cross Town development.
Route 189 will continue to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays, every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays and every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Good that 189 will be serving Brent Cross West Station this year. But when is the new road between a Brent Cross West Station and Tempelhof Avenue going to be ready so that the 326’s extension can happen and 189’s journey being quicker to avoid taking the U Turn at Brent Cross West?

But when is the new road between a Brent Cross West Station and Tempelhof Avenue going to be ready so that the 326’s extension can happen and 189’s journey being quicker to avoid taking the U Turn at Brent Cross West? It won't be ready anytime soon. The replacement Tempelhof Bridge and new road that'll connect it to Merchant Street are part of the Phase 1A North (Infrastructure 2) package, for which planning permission is yet to be sought as far as I can see. There was an overall rephasing of Brent Cross Cricklewood infrastructure works in mid-2019 ( 19/2070/CON on the LB Barnet planning portal, if you're interested.) Merchant Street (formerly High Street South) is only partially-built and very much restricted to construction traffic at present, as is the building on Plot 25. Both of those will be sorted before Tempelhof [Avenue / Link Road], though.

I wonder why they've decided it needs to stop at both stops AA and BB in both directions? Contender for shortest physical distance between two stops on a line of route in London?

Any update on the Brent Cross West roads? As far as I know, Parkview Avenue and Arbour Street are open.
