Buses should not really be standing there I think really… Who the heck wants to look out there window to see the Greenery blocked by a bus. There is a bus stand cage right where the bus stop serving Bromley bound services is which tells me someone has thought about it at some point To be fair, it’s a turning point for the 314 and possibly the 336 too although not for the 261 which is why there’s a bus stand cage there. I’ve always thought it could be pressed into use as a stand for the 138 or 354

You’ll be pleased to know it wouldn’t result in anyone’s view being blocked not that I think that’s anywhere good enough a reason to be against it Diverting the 269 to the new Bromley South Stand would seem a better idea than dumping buses at Plaistow Green I would say. The 269 would serve Bromley Town Centre much better than it currently does.

Only issue for that for the 138 is the whole Coney Hall Loop and no toilet facilities.

Good point with regards the 138 although facilities can be arranged - there’s a medical centre across the road and one of TfL’s toilets could always be placed (local objections notwithstanding)

The SL2 stop at Armada Way should say 'towards Barking and Ilford' not 'towards Barking or Ilford'... right? Or am I missing something LINK Is that not the standard format? The only difference is that stops with one route usually only have towards one location. Can’t see any issues with it as it is technically correct.

I would've thought that this implies that you can catch either a bus towards Barking or a bus towards Ilford, not that you can catch one bus towards both Barking and Ilford.

Should be 'and' or have one only.

I have only ever seen towards X or X and other stops that just have towards Stratford for example....

To be honest, I would not bother with the "towards" and just have a plate that says Express SL2 Barking Ilford Walthamstow. (also - where's the Superloop branding? Tut, tut).

Bengal Road in Ilford Lane is one example. Although that has the 169 & EL1 on the stop.

Personally I don’t mind how that SL2 stop has been set up. If anything other bus stops are more confusing when they have two places but passengers might not know which bus to board to get to the destination mentioned on the stop flag.

Agree, the stops could have been re-designed better than they have been imo. A 'SUPERLOOP' q-tile is quite unnecessary, why not use that space to give information about the route as you suggest... A red e-tile with 'SL2' and 'Express' in tiny font doesn't quite cut it.

The Superloop brand matters and it should be displayed on all stops at which a Superloop route stops.

Yes, I'm not saying the branded tiles need to be abolished from stops, I'm saying that the tile you refer to could be designed more usefully to provide stop-specific information (even at a basic level, the route and destination) rather than just saying 'SUPERLOOP'.
