TV presenter and comedian dies aged 67. Very sad news, my daughter has met him before at Battersea Dogs home and she's shocked and saddened at his untimely passing and apparently many staff have been in tears this morning. RIP |

I'm so sad he's gone I used to watch him all the time on his tea time shows on ITV and channel 4 he was hilarious RIP Paul

Such sad news. I know Paul did so much for the LGBTQ+ community early in his career in the 80s during his residency at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and at other venues around the country.

Not into drag acts (not for any hate, just not into it) but Lily Savage was funny. My mum used to have cassette tapes of some Savage gigs when I was younger, remember hearing the swearing as a kid 😂
Also admired his work with dogs and his ambassador role with Battersea Dogs & Cats home, being someone who has had a dog many years ago and very fond of them
