Hello, a couple of months ago I walked around Leamouth and Isle of Dogs with some friends - it was really interesting and we went there thanks to a couple of posts that I credited at the time.
Can anyone share an interesting / historical area to walk in that's a little bit off the beaten-track, and unlikely to be in the "London Walks" books say in areas Zone 1-3?
Many thanks in advance.

There are some walks near Clissold Park in Hackney which will take you to the New River, which can be followed past Woodberry Down (near Seven Sisters Road) and towards Alexandra Palace. Quite a surprise as it's off the beaten track and quiet, a lot of nature with lots of water birds as well

There is a brilliant walking route that takes you all the way from Wimbledon to Kingston through Raynes Park and New Malden. The Raynes Park to Kingston stretch has a cycle path adjacent to the pedestrian walkway.
