When did the 370 last receive new buses? 57/08 plate E200s 3997-3999 I’m sure they were ordered for the 499. 4000-4010 were ordered for the 370 is that right and when the 370 received the DLAs from the 160 they moved to the 256.

Not many extremes in my patch, the 419 hasn't had new buses since its darts with NCP in 2005. If RATP keep losing compliant single deck routes it may continue that trend at next tender. The 533 has never had its own batch but that's slightly unfair! H22 is a good one. With all the different Dart batches its had I can't remember if any of them were actually ordered for it. Pretty sure the last new buses for the H22 were the T-reg in 1999.

5 had LT cast offs from elsewhere and ELT WVLS with Go Ahead and before that with Stagecoach various cast off TA's the last new buses the route has used I believe were in 2001 Y reg TA's .

It has a part allocation of EHs that were purchased in 2017. I imagine as we go towards the new tender in 2024 it will most likely lose these in favour of a full LT allocation.

17 since 1999. It was supposed to get brand new VWHs in 2017 but those were diverted to 7 in favour of existing 14 reg VWHs then were replaced by existing BCEs from the 43 and LTs from the 91.

The 417 hasn't had any new buses before in it's entire 20 year lifespan before the current order of ES's was placed - inherited L's, then received DLA's from elsewhere, then VLA's from the 337, then DW's from the 59 for a short period and then T's, firstly from the 133 and then from the 160

190, A10 and U10 since 2008. The U10 was supposed to get new DELs in 2015 but they deemed to long for the route so it uses existing DEs instead.

I think we should be focused on routes never even awarded with new vehicles as there are far fewer of those. Indeed, I'll start off with the 169 & 179 that were meant to receive new E400 MMC Smart Hybrids in 2018 that got diverted to TL and instead the older E400's sent across the Thames instead (much to my annoyance at the time, but since I have gotten over that and accepted that anyway), though 169 did got new buses in 2011 and the 179 in 2013 where both routes still retain that as their current allocation.

Still annoyed about that but slightly makes up with hybrids on the 145, even if it’s a small allocation. Similarly, 372 was supposed to as well back in 2014 but received existing E400s instead. At least it got new hybrids eventually after several years.

New buses were specified when the contract started in 1999 but it got pushed down the queue for new buses until 2001.

I seem to recall the SD conversion of the 312 freed up a few.

The 432 got new 05-reg VLAs, together with the 249 (although some of the batch first helped out on the 19 pending delivery of new DWs). The 312 wasn't single-decked until a few months later. Can't remember where the freed DLAs ended up now.

2003. Wowsers. Does stagecoach not respect that route enough to give it some new buses. Like honestly. That is really bad. The 4 has been a dustbin route, almost always getting buses from another route and not a fresh new batch to start from day one. 86 has not had new vehicles since early 2000's although has had odd working new buses from other routes. 97 has had existing buses for years, in fact I believe its last new buses would have been the Titan's in early 80's. It never had fresh new buses for contract under Capital Citybus/First Capital, nor since Stagecoach took over the route since 2005, where it had existing buses. Couple the 17 with the 4 as a dustbin route. I’m so gonna coin that phrase I love it 😂 ‘dustbin route’ Routes that come to mind for me are: - 131 (last new batch of buses 22 years ago) - I would have said the 4 and 17 had capitalomnibus not beat me to it - 157 and 158 spring out to me as routes that always seem to evade new buses (157 finally got lucky this time!) - Most GY routes haven’t had new buses for umpteen years iirc
