Not quite. So basically the 230 got the new buses but the 67 ended up with the existing buses from the 73 instead. At that time. They wanted to get rid of the DLAs off the 243 but there wasn't enough to go around. So that batch 579-586 was actually for the 243 to get rid of the DLAs. I have it somewhere in my records. Let me try and find it. **edit** I've gone through some of the records. This was saying some came off the 29. www.flickr.com/photos/wirewiping/8695371617. I do remember DW431 in particular moving over from SF to AR. Fair enough, my information came from LOTS at the time - forum.bustalk.info/viewtopic.php?t=3757&view=previous&sid=02954c46dbccb74123683e1a46808d63 I was under the impression that the 29's DW's (along with the rest of the 400 series) were cascaded onto other routes in North London like the 243 for instance rather than the 67 Wasn't there 20 HVs (the ones now on the 133) that were used across the 76/149/243 back then aswell?

The 67 received 13 reg DW535-555 from new (think it and the 106 started new contracts at the same time - 106 was similar 13 reg DW516-534), followed by the 121 receiving DW556-578 and the 230 received 63 reg DW579-586 with the remainder of the DW's for the 230 coming from elsewhere - that's how I understand it at least. Not quite. So basically the 230 got the new buses but the 67 ended up with the existing buses from the 73 instead. At that time. 318 got E200's from Dartford (GN57***) supplimented by resurrected E200 Darts from the 382 (EN's 5/9/12-22), most of these have been replaced by ex Dartford ENRs, the other E200 MMC was EN38 from Enfield, and more may arrive from the 377. I think the last time the 318 got brand new buses was the X***PGT Darts when they took the route from First back in the day

The first 60 plate HVs came to AR for the 243, there were never any 13 plate HV's, these went to WN for the 29 / 141. AR retain DWs 537-539, originally for the 230, the rest of their 5 series DWs went to EC (158) and TC (405 before HT delivery)

It had DWs until being replaced by G3s in 2017. The 09 & 60 reg HVs at AR were for the 76, these all moved to BN for the 133 when the 76 was lost to Go Ahead (and converted to LTs at the same time).

16 and 189 Not had any new buses since they got new routemaster since 2015 Um a slight correction 16 gained some new LTs in 2016 when the 16 was retained with new and existing LTs when the 16 gained new LTs to up the PVR from 18 to 22 and the 189 also gained new LTs in 2016.

Edmonton opened in 2013 replacing Lea Valley (LV) after a compulsory purchase of the land. 158 originally started with DW499 and later numbered 63 plate DW's from Tottenham along with ex First B9TL's VLW's 901-910 before these were withdrawn. The ex-230 DW's were surplus to Tottenham after Go Ahead won the route with new electrics, they mostly were on the 41 and 123 before they moved to EC, dispalacing all of the VLWs and a top up to DW's already there

I used to ride the HV's to work every day since they first appeared on the 243 in 2009 Here's HV1 (with earlier Nokia face, note double headlights like the first Euro3 DW's) at Waterloo ready to head back towards Wood Green HV's 1-20 went to Tottenham (mix of 09 and 60 plate), HV's 21+ shifted the DW's from the 319 at BN. The Tottenham batch moved to BN around 2018, gaining the then new Arriva logo on repaint / mild refurb IIRC

I still remember seeing that hybrid livery on the 16, 76, 87 etc. looking very proper

They might have been used on the night 243, which was operated by WN at the time, but they only moved to AR once the 60-reg batch (HV7-26) had been delivered. At AR the HVs were all officially for the 76 although that didn't stop them appearing on other routes including 243.
