I was speaking with a friend that told me the latter and I sure that both bits must be true if it was shown as a presentation. Expansion of Battersea Garage New garage in the north west or Acton Can anyone confirm these are true

Expansion of Battersea Garage New garage in the north west or Acton Can anyone confirm these are true Probably true in that it is likely to be a part of their business plan to grow the company. That does not mean it will happen though. It does tend to indicate the areas where they will be bidding for work & if they win it then a new Garage in the Acton area and or the expansion of Battersea are on the cards. It will be more interesting to see if they set up operations eles where in London. I dont know whether they have done it yet but I guess they could operate some of their National Expess services out of one or more of their garages.

Be it true or not all the "London based" companies all want a slice of more of the cherry. I am sure referring to Acton etc is wanting to increase some presence such as Ealing with the 112. Any company has a mission statement and aim to be better (though I am no opening a debate to say which are so and appear not to - that is a seperate topic in it's own right) in what they do and expansion is always good for business.

I'm surprised Travel London (National Express) hasn't made a bid to purchase Blue Triangle. For a small company, they have various routes of importance throughout East London and inner-Essex, 474, 248, 66, 372, 362 & from July 364.
Go-Ahead brought Docklands buses at Silvertown, even though they only operate 167, 368, W19, & 549.
Blue Triangle have a bigger base than Docklands at Rainham and it could be improved with investment to rival First Dagenham even more than they are doing.
I think a company like Travel London (National Express) would be well advised to take a look at a company like Blue Triangle to break into the East London market. - Gareth.

I'd personally prefer BT to stay on its own - God knows what NatEx would do to their vintage culture.

I never hinted to NatEx wanting Blue Triangle, though someone else may be... leave you to think about it. And I have heard from a few people of what I heard. Meets to their criteria BUT at the end of the day I see it when I believe it. I was surprised but then again London is for the big boys not for the small fish. As to Travel London (Middx) or the TGM side of things, if I was NatEx sell up and count the losses they are loosing things left right and centre.

So in other words Go-Ahead are sniffing around Blue Triangle if so good means my shares will continue to go up ;D

Slightly off topic, sorry - but what are you getting your shares at, £19 something like the rest of us or is the drivers rate different?
