Aren’t they contractually allocated to the P13? Surely it would make sense to get rid of the 10reg enviro’s which are far older and bring the MMCs to WL? As mentioned before, it depends on their ownership status in whether they’re leased as well as the terms of the lease. There are not enough buses to remove all the old body Enviro 200’s as the previous contract was a mix of those plus MMC’s. In any case, the P13 uses mainly 11 reg examples and only has 4 10 reg examples

I'm surprised nobody has picked up on this yet, but the fan favourite batch of MMC's at BC, 8343-8347 have not been in service for over a week. All apart from 8347 had their MOT's done in November so I wonder if Abellio have decided they're not going to wait for the Croydon consultation tender results and send them off lease? I did wonder why 8822 and 8823 were out on the 433 today! And indeed 8343-8347 have been withdrawn. According to comments from this Instagram post, 8344 has moved on to Go Coach, not sure if the rest will follow. www.instagram.com/busdriverjacob/p/CXJjbkPILRG/?utm_medium=copy_linkSad to see these MMC’s leave London after only 5 years of service, they were one of a kind. It's been confirmed that Go Coach have acquired all five.

Funny enough I’ve just seen that in Bromley on the 367. A few of the 367 batch have been done and most of the P13 batch at WL.

I am kicking myself for not aiming to ride one in Feb '19. I did ride a similar length refurb classic E200 but could have done one on route P13 now.

Possibly something into TF and then when the 111 turns up, the 267 is pushed out to QB temporarily, not sure how logical all that is mind you? The 195 into TF releases 17 buses from GW, lowering that to 146. The N207 also clears the garage of a further 17 buses, taking that down to 129. I don't think the 195 moved out at all since 8875, a bus allocated to the E7 is on the route currently. It is still early days but unless it had formed a new allocation there, I don't think the route left GW to TF.

Although I am surprised nothing moved out in the end as as far as I'm aware GW is over capacity.

With all the excitement/interest of the launch of London Transit, the closure of Hayes Bus Garage went rather under the radar, but just wanted to pay homage to it. The site has operated TFL work consistently since 1999, operating route U7 since its renumbering, the longest route tenure at the garage. They've previously operated routes like the 112 and E6, and at time of closure operated 6 TFL routes and housed 47 buses. This page gives a pretty good overview of the early history of the garage, with a focus on the vehicles it operated. www.countrybus.org/Dart_SLF/Wings/Wings.htm

When I worked down Uxbridge industrial estate, I quite often used to see them dead running along Cowley Mill Road. A random bit of useless info, a Facebook friend used to drive the U7, I’d often see his yellow Dart parked outside his house along Appletree Avenue when he was on his meal break! After the Waterloo base closed, I’m pretty sure they used a base down Springfield Road in Hayes before finally using the current base in North Hyde Gardens. What I can’t remember though is whether the code WS was used for all 3 bases, excluding the period under TGM ownership, where I’m pretty sure they used the TM code.

I guess I could rephrase my post to say paying homage to Wings not just the garage!
