LT995 has broke down at hammersmith, it crashed into a bump (or something) by Latimer Road. This was on the 267 at around 1:45pm.

8174 had a collision with a car in Kew today, Car came off much worse. Looks like it was quite forceful impact but bus was only damaged at the rear left of the vehicle. Bus was able to limp to the Retail Park where it was attended to. I'd expect a few weeks to a month off road.

It looks it's the end of the road for 9487-9504 as none have been in service since the 28th, the first time since they were refurbished. It's a pleasure to see the 345 finally receive a full hybrid allocation bar 9519, 9521 and 9522 which could go any day now.

A few years and there'll be none left, I haven't used them in a while but I thought they were quite nice on the 156.

I suspect once the 415 reverts to LT operation, then the rest of the diesels will be replaced - I already make about 10 spare currently with just another 3 to be replaced

For me personally in general I will be sad to see the the diesels go because they were part of my childhood and I love the sound of the engine including the thrashing.

If they do go, will just leave the 2012 examples of pure diesel E400s : 9523-9543 some 2012 buses were withdrawn years ago : 9544-9558 some are so long ago, no longer appear as withdrawn on LVF The oldest Abellio buses would then be 59-reg : 8524, 8526, 8528 3 remaining from a mainly withdrawn batch of 10.2m single decks

I think some of the 9544-9558 batch are still in London service with Go-Ahead as EN41-48. Some are also with Sullivan, E49-51 were once 9550-2! 9524-43 were one batch new for route 211 and are together again now at GW, which is nice. I believe some of the few buses with Abellio with their older are: 8524, 8526, 8788 and 9424-6. There’s also some hybrids, though I don’t know the specific fleet numbers 2414-2422 are the hybrids that still have old 2008 National Express interior.

Had it floored and it's a really fast E40D. I won't miss them too much as the hybrids now on the 156 are one of my favourite batches of E40H.

No diesels have been recorded on the 345(N) today. Could be hinting to their withdrawal now unfortunately.
