The 44 is wholly WSD operated today; I don’t remember this happening before, but I'm sure someone can prove me wrong...

That’s rather unexpected! I assumed all the HAs moved out of AE! Will this eventually move to the SL1 or is it not needed there? Think some of AE's LTs are currently off for refurbishments, so probably the HAs are staying there a little longer to cover them?

Do operators actually get fined for sending diesel buses into the City? TfL buses are all Euro6, plenty of diesel tourbuses are all over the City, plenty of routes outside of the Central ULEZ use diesel buses despite being on other contracts, etc.

I believe it is a TFL "In Service" rule only that all buses in the Central ULEZ must be Hybrid or Electric and you have the Hydrogens on the 7s.

Yes, it applies to TfL services apart from those that are diverted into the central area from their regular routing. I'm pretty sure diesel workings on TfL routes in Central London are met with a fine otherwise how do you police such a rule then?
