That’s not the only E200 on the 200 in fact it’s fully E200. It looks like the MEs have been suspended and the 200 has been converted temporarily back to single deck using E200s I guess that’s what they had spare.

Are the E200s on the 200 from the 265?

VMSS2839 entered service on the 384 Yours truly is a passenger on it! How's the passenger experience like on BZLs compared to a BYD or Optare?

How's the passenger experience like on BZLs compared to a BYD or Optare? I’m still waiting for his experience of the 251 example he rode 😛 Oops my apologies to you both - remind me not to make a mental note again.... So, they are quite nice vehicles to travel on - and personally I think the exterior looks fantastic if a little bulky looking - I like the front with the headlamps - however the interior layout is somewhat disappointing, with very large steps from the gangway to seats further up the bus - and only 4-6 seats accessed without a step! So much for accessibility...They also have the trademark MCV cheap-feel plastic fixtures throughout the bus, but, there was no rattles both occasions and a smooth ride bar the usual potholes. The presence of a gearbox (2-speed) on an electric bus is also interesting, it seems to change up just over 20mph, so realistically some BZL deployments will never encounter the gear changes. Both times I've ridden one, I sat in the nearside front seat by the cab (my favourite seat on a bus bar a top front one where applicable ), and interestingly both times the ISA equipment actually worked as it should do kicking in, on some BYDs it can be intermittent - instead of a fixed speed sign like others it simply shows the applicable speed upon entering the zone. They are also pretty fast to accelerate and on the A1 section of the 384 they achieved a good turn of speed, they are limited to 50mph. So overall, fairly good but with some flaws, many of which are applicable to other EV bus types too. I still think the Wright Kite is probably the best one out there as it stands.

`TMP on route 379.Guessing a WS from somewhere, I'd imagine with WS79-80 gone the 379 was using 456 WS and the 456 using electrics, if somethings moved over I wonder if the electric are now needed at RR/DS for their intended route 376.
