Arriva Netherlands secures West Brabant bus operations for a further ten years
Following a competitive tender, the team at Arriva Netherlands has been awarded the West Brabant concession contract for another ten years, starting July 2025.
In line with our shared Purpose to connect people and communities safely, reliably and sustainably, the Dutch team will be introducing a brand-new fleet of 200 buses which will be entirely zero-emission by 2030 helping to make bus travel a zero-carbon travel option in the region. The bus interiors will also be made of sustainable materials to support the transition to a more circular economy.
The passenger experience will be significantly improved through the expansion of the current timetable with more direct connections on faster routes. All the new buses will offer greater comfort, with spacious seating and clear travel information.
What’s more, passengers can plan, reserve and pay for their travel through the Glimble by Arriva app, allowing them to travel seamlessly across all modes of passenger transport and receive real-time updates and have 24/7 access to customer service.
