There was a post about this somewhere else on the Form but I cannot find it. Transport UK London Bus route 464 has been curtailed at Biggin Hill Valley since 22nd January, as Thames Water has closed Ship Hill to replace a water main after nine bursts in eighteen months. A shuttle minibus service to and from Tatsfield has been commissioned by TfL and has been sub-contracted to Go-Coach Hire, who only received confirmation of the job six days before it was due to start. A sixteen-seater minibus has been hired from Kent County Council, this carries specially-made vinyls for the shuttle which is branded "464 Connector". The revised service is planned to operate until 29th April, it is being paid for by Thames Water. Roger French ("Bus & Train User") has blogged about the 464 Connector, sadly in his experience it doesn't actually connect very well. busandtrainuser.com/2024/02/10/the-464-connector-that-doesnt-connect/

Still poor though as I am sure another solution could have been found. That said, it only affects people travelling to and from Tatsfield (who aren't very numerous - about 100 passengers a day are reportedly using the shuttle) and it's better than having no bus at all.

I take it it’s a free service?

A temporary timetable could be a good solution. If it is curtailed to Biggin Hill until May the normal timetable is not required.
