Network Rail and Lambeth Council have unveiled outline plans to transform Waterloo Station over future years.
The plans envisage extensive use being made of the Undercroft to provide a new concourse area under the platforms, with access via lifts and escalators. There would be vastly improves access to the station at street level, and public access across the station area for the wiser community.
