We reached 1/3 of the year and the proposals we got was removing hail and ride sections from the 273, 188 reroute and N518. Are there any leaks or rumors regarding any proposals, for the fact that I do know that the 223 is getting another one this year for the oxhey lane extension but does anyone know other leaks or rumors for which borough or any other route will be getting an extension, because I do recall a similar thread was posted last year.

There will likely be a Southall area consultation later this year including the introduction of a new 495 route.
I believe the Meridian Water consultation should also go live this year, too.

Not definitively 2024, but sooner rather than later… the EL4 may end up getting a consultation, in relation to Barking & Dagenham and Havering.
Currently, it’s speculated to go between:
Barking Riverside - Castle Green - Becontree - Becontree Heath - Romford

There will likely be a Southall area consultation later this year including the introduction of a new 495 route. I believe the Meridian Water consultation should also go live this year, too. There was rumoured Catford/Lewisham and Bromley aswell plus Carshalton was mentioned aswell. |

Not definitively 2024, but sooner rather than later… the EL4 may end up getting a consultation, in relation to Barking & Dagenham and Havering. Currently, it’s speculated to go between: Barking Riverside - Castle Green - Becontree - Becontree Heath - Romford When did it get speculated to go Romford? I think it will certainly be later as opposed to sooner. All that's happened is some councils say they want the route, TfL will need to study the travel patterns and then decide on value for money before anything even happens on it. The extension of the Overground deals with most of Barking Riverside for now. |

I really don’t see much point in another route running between Becontree Heath and Romford on top of the 5, 103, 128, 175 and 499. Unless there is an express version and instead EL4 becomes BL2 and is known as the BarkLoop. |
