Seeing some absolutely shocking scenes in Leeds this evening.
Small in the scheme of things but there are videos online of buses on fire! I am also seeing reports of unrest in London over a separate incident.
I hope the police get control of things and we don’t end up with a 2011 up north.

Looks like one of the B9 original Geminis on fire.
Let's hope it doesn't escalate like in 2011. That went from a disturbance at Tottenham Police station into most towns having some unrest.

At least one double decker has been totally destroyed, there are various suggestions about what started the disorder.
Seems to be peaceful there this morning from TV pictures and hopefully it stays that way.
*There are videos on tiktok of people starting the bus fire, they may as well go and hand themselves in to the police rather than wait for the inevitable knock on the door, 37447 was the bus destroyed.

Was suggested on BBC news site that it kicked off after social services tried to get access to children in a local family.
