I’m surprised to hear of this being a hotspot for accidents, never seen or heard of any myself, the speeding however is certainly there. They could try speed cams, there is a radar speed sign on the bridge near Aldrington Road which is regularly ignored Or they could try not handing out licenses like confetti and better education - speed cameras don't solve speeding. One of my local main roads has speed camaeras at both ends plus is 20mph and they still speed so all these things traffic planners think deters this sort of thing aren't always as sound as they think.

They could try speed cams, there is a radar speed sign on the bridge near Aldrington Road which is regularly ignored I can’t recall ever seeing an accident there although traffic lights will undoubtedly make it safer especially for pedestrians.
