Spotted VWH1413 driven by someone wearing an orange hi vis orange jacket from outside 302 catchment area (Anson Road) back into AC garage. Can only assume an engineer and this bus once again misbehaving.
Seems the fight to keep this bus on the road continues and still has an unresolved issue even after 3-4 week intervals off the road numerous times. An shame as this one was an great performer.

Bad day for the 241 today 11021 (I think) broke down at Custom House station around 1pm today and this afternoon 12420 broke down in Freemasons Road. Both fleet numbers guesses from LVF as I was driving and using the log off times.

I travelled on Go Ahead E245 the other day.
Sitting on the upper deck I was bumped out of my seat every time we went over a pothole or speed hump.
It would seem that the rear springs had gone.

Spotted VW1394 towed back to (W) via a Dynes recovery truck.
It’s LVF running history log looks cursed as well recently.

I travelled Go Ahead's SE88 last night.
The vibrations and noises when idling are getting worse. Some serious clunks when pulling away too.

E111 sounds strange, like the engine is expelling gas. Not nearly as insufferable as WSD11 with the obnoxiously whiny engine and fans blaring

Rode on LT563 on the 16 today and there's obviously an issue with the wheelchair plank - it struggled to fold back in every time it extended. The driver had to restart the bus twice in order to get it done.

A lot of the time they need spraying up at the edges as dirt and road grit gets sprayed up onto them.

I can imagine that it's prone to wear and tear given how frequent it's used. The driver even asked us to leave the bus at the Orchardson Street stand as he thought he'd be getting the mechanics to fix it, but turned out he could fix it on his own so asked us to come back onto the bus.
