DLP101 (LF52URG) didn't sound herself yesterday on the 279... Loud tappetty sound coming from the engine... I had an old Ford Orion that used to do that ;D

youtube.com/watch?v=omVG65978u4I had John and his East London Tridents in mind when I was recording this vid. There are other ELBG Tridents which sound like this which is strange as LG ones dont have this problem not to my knowledge.

Will have to try and find 17457 today, hopefully catch it on the 174 at some point. It did park behind 17464 on the 175 when i was at Romford the other day and was waiting for it to pull off, but it was windy and i wasn't gonna wait ;D As i say, at NS i believe it's now only 17444 and 17457 with this problem as the V-reg examples have all been repaired, though i swear i heard a similar problem on one of the 179** batch at NS

17950 LX53JYO was making a racket going up the hill on London Road from Crayford yesterday, must say I find it funny that the trident start of soaring up the hill but when they hit the middle they slow down incredibly. Also MA59 BX04MZN making a grinding noise spotted at Angel last night heading to Victoria

Try cycling up a big hill then you'll see how you can soar up at the beginning but slow down quite dramatically half way.

Lol, most of the other hills the bus did struggle up went ever so slowly but I just found it funny the way it attacked the hill in the beginning then just slowed down dramatically.

17991 (LX53KBY) with a noisy air rushing sound as it accelerated. Though, still only half the volume of a B7's fan ;D
