A Bus Station ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I can recommend a few good bus stations to go to: - Edgware (my local - natch) ;D
- Harrow
- Brent Cross
- Edmonton Green
- Walthamstow Central
- Leytonstone (though there aren't that many routes there, but still)
- Becontree Heath
- Bromley North (not really a bus station, more of a 'bus park', you do get some friendly drivers there who will move their bus for you so you can get better shots)
- Lewisham
- Eltham
- West Croydon (how could we forget West Croydon) ;D
- Kingston (both bus stations there).

South Street in Romford also is pretty good. If you position yourself either outside of the gym or across the road to the right a little there is a small bit of pedestrian space fenced off where the roadside officials sometimes stand. Also good as you can cover South Street, Victoria Road, the bit round by the bus stand and of course the buses coming from round by the station.

Being sensible, there's some good advice here www.londonbusphotos.co.uk/Go to photography guide. Also if you go to the Orpington Gallery, you will see a picture of yours truely driving a 51, the one right in the middle

Angel Stations quite a good one too with regular visits from Enviro's on the 4 & 43, the Spirit of London on the 30, all different paintjobs/ colourschemes/ glue markings/ repaints adorning the 56, a different destination on every 38 throughout the day, 73's in lines of about 7... and the blandness that is First London with the 476 & 341. Sums it up nicely!!
Also Trafalgar Square... at night-time (or in the daytime for the Heritage Routemasters), with a very VERY good camera. You could get some interesting shots down there I would imagine? especially standing on the massive traffic island.

I guess is you wear a Hi-Vi... any garage will let you, unless there are sensitive buses in the garage, such as the garage where that 76 is... the one which a man fell onto. Apparantely its cordoned off in the corner of either Wood Green/ Tottenham garage.

Apparantely its cordoned off in the corner of either Wood Green/ Tottenham garage. Though some garages may not let you in on the grounds that they are suspicious of your motives. Speaking of hi-vis, I have been inside AR without one when an RTW entered the garage and tipped out in the middle of the garage. It was scary even for me as the RMLs on the 73 rushed in to do their U-turns/reverse turns. Not to mention the garage manager was hysterical that a bus load of people were dumped in his garage in the middle of the afternoon peak without any hi-vis.

Further to my other post about bus photography in Romford - the little bit outside of Haart estate agents (opposite the gym by the station) is also pretty good. I got some OK photos there today ;D ;D
