Or you could do as my 280 driver did this morning, play "Please move down inside the bus" and "Seats are available on the upper deck" to send people up, who then found that there werent any seats on the top deck so stood there, then he refused to move and kept playing "No standing on the upper deck or stairs"

One thing i would like to suggest for Ibus, as im sure madstuntman will agree, on the 286 we get a lot of students get on at the Cutty Sark, asking to go to avery hill, the thing is when we get to Bexley Road, one of the stops is called 'Avery Hill College' this confuses students that dont know the area because we both know the stop they want is 'Avery Hill Road' would it be possible to suggest changing the name of this stop to Crown Woods School or something, so people dont get confused and get off 2 stops to early, and put University of Greenwich on the stop on avery hill road?

I see what you mean but the first stop is correct. Both stops are at an entrance to the collage. Through the arches just by the stop on bexley road is access to the collage for people who come in each day. The second stop in Avery Hill road is for the halls of residence. So both entrances essentually lead to the same place. Having said that 90% of people use the second stop so it may be a point for debate.

I have passed this on for consideration. I have checked the 286 tonight - not that I didn't believe you but needed to look for myself. I travelled on 3996 and 3987 (one of the drivers had an earpiece in ) and indeed whilst the display and the stops are saying Blackheath Royal Standard the annoucements are not either saying Westcombe Hill/Charlton Road or Batley Park Charlton Road on return. I will confirm my findings tomorrow to hopefully get this sorted. One for LC1 I got on at Kidbrooke Grove stop which was displayed on a passing 89 - I assume this is being annouced now OK? Ok I checked this last night, the stop name has been changed on the MDT (and presumably the passenger display) however the lovely Emma still annouce's Shooter's Hill Road/Kidbrooke Park Road. As an aside I see they have also changed the first Old Dover Road stop in Shooter's Hill Road to Hervey Road, although Emma has obviously not recorded it yet as nothing is annouced.

More from me after my 174 ride today. It in regards to the Straight Road post i made a while ago. Noticed today that the first stop in Hilldene Avenue towards Central Park is named Straight Road. However, the bus has just turned OFF of Straight Road. Just thought it would be better to name this stop by the little side road opposite

The next bus stop is closed announcement is great but to give passengers the opportunity to alight you really need to place this at the previous stop - although appreciate sometimes the following stop can be closer for passengers to alight. Trouble is you don't always know that stops are closed - say if you do a rest day on another route. I am not convinced that Notice of Events are issued for all stop closures otherwise you would wallpaper the entire garage!!!!
A love the CCTV in operation announcement especially in the Abbey Wood and Woolwich areas - look at the passengers faces looking for the camera's

One from me having done a 365 for the first time in a while today.
The bus stops in Queens Hospital have been changed and dropped "The" from the stop flags. The iBus announcements were changed a while back to just Queens Hospital but on both the display and the MDT it is still "The Queens Hospital."
Presumably this will be sorted through an update??

i noticed that the Queen Mary's bound service said Charlton Road/Batley Park, when i had 3998 a few weeks ago, im certain it was announcing Blackheath, Royal Standard in that direction, im not sure why it is now announcing that. The 'Sidcup Leisure Centre' stop on the 229 i was on about while back has been renamed, but still on IBUS as 'Hurst Road, Lamorbey Baths', suspect an update shortly.
