Are there any TfL routes that run along busways? 96 between Darent Valley hospital and Bluewater. Until 2017 the 108, 129, 132, 161, 422, 472 also used the Pilot Busway, formerly guided, on Greenwich Peninsula until the road layout got made into a conventional layout

What is the difference of the "Smart Hybrids" ? Heard many people say they are fake Hybrid but surely they have some difference.

Whilst essentially a diesel bus with a conventional gearbox, the low voltage mild hybrid system recovers kinetic energy during deceleration, and provides assistive torque to the driveline during acceleration.

Just got off one on the 285s. Definately sounds different to regular Diesel MMCs.

When exactly did the rule for all buses in TFL service entering Central London *must* be Hybrid or full Electric start?
I can not recall what vehicles were shuffled around.

The C2 withdrawal took away the last diesel DDs just before the ULEZ started.
