What is the shortest distance between two garages with the same operator? Excluding things like BN and the tram shed etc. DS and SI - they're opposite one another. WN and AD are also fairly close to one another, as are Q/PM/NX. CT and AE as well, TH and TC too. AV and HH, GM and A too.

The replacement ON is now even closer although it’s an outstation so doesn’t fit your criteria. There was also PA nearby so at one stage Metroline has ON, PA and PV all within a couple of miles of each other

What is the shortest distance between two garages with the same operator? Excluding things like BN and the tram shed etc. When Go-Ahead bought out the East Thames Buses operation they briefly had two garages next door to each other on Mandela Way (MA and MW). They vacated MA pretty quickly though.
In the past Stagecoach had two garages almost next to each other on Waterden Road (SD and WA). Both were demolished to make way for the Olympic developments, along with First's garage (H) which was on the same stretch of road.

I wouldn't expect much out of it really if others like Brent Cross and Wembley are to go by. Also if they have any major cutbacks it won't happen now before the election.

The review is this 23/24 financial year, given so much of the stuff in the area comes up for tender towards 2025 including the Roundabout network, I expect to see a consultation, if anything is actually proposed requiring one, probably around spring 2024. It would be somewhat amusing if amongst all the crayon-drawing and speculation they proposed diddly squat for the area network!

Brent Cross West station isn't even open yet and I believe the roads that most of the buses will serve haven't been built yet It was pretty much switches the routes from one road to another with the 316 extended needing a PVR increase of 1. Same with Wembley Park. Pretty much cost neutral. Tbh iv lost track now on where TFL stand on cutbacks and efficiencies. I can't really believe that there will be a £79m surplus this year when last year they needed £900m+ just to finish the last 7 months of the financial year. Does this surplus factor in Khan's 25m to keep the central London routes. Will that 25m keep being provided? Or how have things changed with most likely a higher tender cost on the 23/C3/306/283/28/328 now that they have all been surrendered early all pushing up costs that weren't expected.

Oh so that’s why all the 407s I’ve seen recently are curtailed to Purley Yep, because of the Godstone Road closure the 407 is operating a split Caterham to Purley Station and a Purley Cross to Sutton service. The 434 meanwhile can divert to reach most of its normal line of route
