Is something wrong with the 4? I see no 4's towards Waterloo. I see nothing on lvf. There are 4's heading to Waterloo now (Well some!)  I think all the delays are down to the Taxi Protest in Central London. That might be it. I was at Finsbury Park and no 4's were coming in.And now I can see them arriving. |

How comes there are no garage journeys anymore? On route 4 or in general ? I think in general route 279 still has a couple from Waltham Cross to Ponders End and vice versa at various times of the day , and I think main routes stopped with them for pure simplicity of timetables . |

The 123 had previous dead journeys livened up from Tottenham to Ilford plus the last two buses from Ilford run through to Tottenham (Park View Rd) rather than Wood Green or not being in service at all. As already said the 279 does retain some. I think much of it is down to TfL wanting simplicity plus avoiding creating demand on special route sections that could disappear if the route moves operators or garages. |

Besides from driving the Buses and maintaining the buses, are there other jobs are there at a bus company? At a bus company whose job is it to decide what bus goes where? Like example at Go-Ahead who job is it to decide that Scania Olympus's go to BT? And bus companies have apprenticeships?
