What is the quickest route from White City/Shepherds Bush - Southall? There are 3 options, which one is the best? There is also the non-bus option which is quicker than the SL8 using Central Line to Ealing Broadway then Elizabeth Line

What was the Mercedes Benz BU13ZVE for and why did it shuffle around so many operators? Found a photo from 2013 on the 355 so I looked on LVF and it has a strange history, it has ELEVEN different fleet codes and was actually tracking recently

It has been on a ridiculous number of routes for a demonstrator - 108, 110, 126, 227 (with 2 different operators), 235, 290, 313, 355, 358, 380, 406, 411, 413, 444, 465, 467, 490, 633, 641, H25, K3, R9, R70 and X26.

It was with Kent Coach Tours that recently closed down Leonard

I don't know if this question has been asked before but how did routes get their number? When LT / TfL pick numbers did they just pick it arbitrarily? For example why is route 22 numbered route 22? Surely there must be a reason ðŸ˜

Surely there must be a reason 😠It was generally just in order of when a route was introduced from 1 to 200. Or when a number had become spare ie when the original 96 was withdrawn in the 1950s the bus replacement route for the trollybus 696 used the number 96. Others have taken their numbers from a parent route such as the 280 which replaced part of the 80 in 1969.

(but just a start)

The West Drayton closure has ended a couple days ago (according to TFL). So why haven't the 222, 350, U3 and U5 haven't returned to it.

How can I travel to Lakeside by train? Will I need to catch a bus to the Shopping Centre?
For Bluewater I normally take the bus from Dartford cos there is not really a walkable station.

C2C to Chafford Hundred, you can get it from Fenchurch St/West Ham/Limehouse/Barking, and then it’s a ~8 min walk from there according to Google Maps

That reminds me - a Chris Hogan has made FoI requests aplenty on the West Drayton Station Approach and hasn't been shy in excoriating some of the bodies over what appears to be a shambolic mess.

So the whole reason for this is because the amount of buses that go through Station Approach is too much. Interesting that there's an expected time in December as that's when the car park should reopen

Despite how careful I was on my list for the Exclusively Diesel routes thread, spotted some errors!
Just to be sure if anyone can help:
81, 118, 127 & 129- do they see regular Hybrid strays? I have removed it from the list.
Not sure if any strays happen on the 250 & 289 atm
I have also removed the 108, even tho it is not fully EV converted yet it sees them daily (think a couple of SEes?)
