This new route is operated by Travel with Hunny (TWH) wihich was bought by Imperial only a few months ago, so are Imperial about to compete with themselves?

This new route is operated by Travel with Hunny (TWH) wihich was bought by Imperial only a few months ago, so are Imperial about to compete with themselves? Maybe the application had gone in BEFORE Imperial took over TWH (stupid name for a bus company!).

I had no idea that imperial owned it but why compete with its own may be they will see wihich one earns the most and get rid of one

I had no idea that imperial owned it but why compete with its own may be they will see wihich one earns the most and get rid of one If either or both these routes are subsidised by the local council, why not run BOTH and earn double bubble? ;D I did not think of that the company is gaining a profit but don’t the council think its a rip off 2 routes nearly the same I guess its a bit like the 310 and 311 some of them are running under the council and some are not.

Imperial Buses did own TWH, but the companies seperated early this year. TWH's service looks much better than Imperial's, but then again Imperial's route looked very good when it first started too.

The 55 is now being extended to Princess Alexandra Hospital from Harlow Bus Station and a saturday service is being introduced. This is following Imperial Buses timetable changes to the H1. Aswell as the L55 (Harlow to Lakeside) saturday service which is operated by TWH, there will aslo be a weekday 575 service operated by Blue Triangle

The 55 is now being extended to Princess Alexandra Hospital from Harlow Bus Station and a saturday service is being introduced. This is following Imperial Buses timetable changes to the H1. Aswell as the L55 (Harlow to Lakeside) saturday service which is operated by TWH, there will aslo be a weekday 575 service operated by Blue Triangle Just to add to this there is a 55 that goes to Romford every Wednesday £5.00 return it run that 55 route until Debden then direct to Romford. I have noticed route 575 on bus stops around Romford where does it go.

As far as i know, i've never seen a 55 in Romford and i've lived here for 22 years no the route 55 that runs from Loughton to Harlow they do a special route on Wednesdays from Harlow to Romford. when I went to Harlow I picked up a leaflet saying that they do this service and notices are all around Harlow bus station.
