My goodness What do we call it then? How does 'Compoint' sound? That's only a breadvan, not very much odd about that (other than the adopted Stagecoach livery) ;D

Seems good to me lol. I also searched that vehicle and it was originally a UVG (Caetano) Compass. Obviously something major happened to the front end and got replaced by the front of a Pointer 2

Stagecoach de Cyrmu inherited these darts from Glynn Williams when they took over and converted some of these Caetano darts to have Pointer dart fronts. A few were done.

Dont really want to start a new thread, so apologies for not quite in right place, but here is the earliest photo I can find of an 09 reg bus, straight off the ferry at Fleetwood docks alistair268.fotopic.net/p56277036.htmlmore on topic (odd vehicles), just look at the emergency door giving mixed window sizes and huge aircon pod on roof alistair268.fotopic.net/p56298113.htmlthe race is now on for earliest pic of a 09 reg London bus.....

And could those air con pods BE any bigger

That definitely looks odd. What IS it? I can only guess (from that grey logo on the front with what looks like a red square in the middle, and from the side window profile), that it could be a bus with BMC bodywork (probably got the name wrong), or whatever the name is - the bodybuilder that was a predecessor to MCV but came after Marshalls finished? Most likely incorrect though It isn't the only one - many of the Gemini double-deckers with Lothian Buses also omit the W-shaped indent on the front. They have utilised that space to apply route-branding, so perhaps Trent Barton will do / have done the same thing with the bus in the pic?
