Anyone have a clue regarding operators on the PL and DL closures in West London over Christmas and New Year ? Abellio will be operating the following: DL4 Fulham Broadway-Wimbledon on Boxing day only. PL1 Gunnersbury-Northfields 24th-30th of December (excluding Christmas day) PL3 Hammersmith-Heathrow Central 24th-30th of December (excluding Christmas day) PL3 is Gunnersbury to Rayners Lane?

I've had a go at laying out some of the other routes I've rated a 3/3 for difficulty. Stratford to Richmond - Google Maps linkHammersmith to Heathrow Terminal 5 - Google Maps linkAnd the most dreaded route of them all which has ongoing problems with buses failing to serve the stations - St Pancras to Elstree & Borehamwood - Google Maps link. This one has a layer for West Hamstead to St Pancras too that can be toggled on and off. Having laid that one out on the map, use of sav-nav is almost certain to be a problem. Drivers relying on it are going to come unstuck as some of the stations are situated on roads that are bus only, rendering the sat-nav useless. There are also many banned turns that force different routes either way throughout the route. Good work!
Surprised to see that the official route from West Hampstead to Kentish Town takes you via Camden Road. Having done it (as a passenger) a couple of times, each time we went straight ahead on Castlehaven Road instead of turning right onto Hawley Road (the road layout makes this slightly tricky but it can be done), then right onto Castle Road to reach Kentish Town Road. On both occasions this was with a Holloway-based driver (Metroline used to be regular subcontractors on the West Hampstead - St Pancras shuttle) so I guess they were using their local knowledge to take a shortcut.

Plenty of Rail Replacement going on the GTR network this weekend, particularly south of the river due to engineering work in the Redhill area.

PL1 will run using buses out of Southall garage and the DL4 will be ran by buses from Battersea garage.

And the Piccadilly line still being operational between Northfields and Heathrow?

Coach service provides a direct link from Hammersmith without having to change services too many times. It can be as quick as the Piccadilly line normally takes! Plus at this time it does help with the physical distancing malarkey.

Piccadilly line works between Christmas and Jan 2nd meaning Hammersmith to Heathrow rail replacement operational on MOST days over the festive period. Buses running from Lower bus station meaning 110 standing in Upper bus station.

Didn't know what the best place for this was, but this LT has to be one of very few to use a 'Underground Service' blind?

Didn't know what the best place for this was, but this LT has to be one of very few to use a 'Underground Service' blind? It's frowned upon because the paperwork says the blinds must be set to "Rail replacement". Instructing drivers to use a generic display reduces the risk of an inappropriate one being shown. Elsewhere you do see National Rail, London Overground, Crossrail etc blinds showing on London Underground and TfL Rail services. Display of incorrect information excludes intending passengers and contravenes accessibility regulations so is something that should really be corrected by supervisors. I would always set the blinds to Underground Service if appropriate, but it was usually changed back by a controller after the bus was handed over. The same goes for tram replacement services - I'd use the blind if the buses had them. Abellio's LTs used to have a really nice London Underground blind, but they were removed in favour of the "Underground Service" blind depicted.
