Piccadilly Line replacement 10-14th Acton Town to Heathrow … Any interesting sub-contractors ? All Stations service (including Friday night into Saturday from Hammersmith) is Metroline, I'll be doing a few night shifts on it Edit " Been made aware that Sullivans may be involved as a subcontractor on the all stations service Imperial Coaches are also apparently a subcontractor for the daytime service.

I imagine Imperial coaches will do the Hammersmith-Heathrow non-stops. They won't have much schools work next week.

Noticed they are not mentioning the extras on the TfL status site. You would think they give passengers the opportunity to make use of the buses and take pressure off the trains! If enough people knew about the bus service they could have even reduced the amount of trains on that section for use elsewhere. Extras like these are generally not advertised as people would opt for the 'free bus'. Another example is ML6 (Chesham - Amersham) which occasionally has two buses during the week. If there is a train cancellation(s), LUL station staff would put publicity out locally. This went out on the weekend travel update yesterday, they don't even bother mentioning the regular routes with extra services which wouldn't be free (though the info, along with the link to Chingford, was given out to the press, see ES article earlier this week):
Not really sure what's the point to be honest. Sure in the morning peak staff can redirect passengers to head to Chingford via the new service on the spot, but the Chingford link also operates in the evening peak. Not sure who'll be at Chingford by chance to catch it unless it's announced in stations along the line.

Note: PL1 has been subcontracted to Arriva, Sullivan Buses and other operators I would like to pass my appreciation to those that post these. It is interesting to see who operates what. Such a shame there is not one for NR replacements. Arriva operating on the Piccadilly Line replacements will bring Arriva London buses to unusual parts of London. Additionally is there a known reason why Abellio London operations are differentiate in chosen colours?

Believe the non-standard colours represent a contract bid for and won by Abellio but sub-contracted to their list of operators who are willing to do replacement work from all over England.

Light Orange is the colour tone for London Coaches, it’s an indication that PL3 will be operated by coaches (via subcontracting).

ES31 makes an appearance on UL3, making it the first Arriva ES to go onto rail replacement (as far as I'm aware)

Apolgies for the hiatus in reposting the information here, there has been very little rail rep on recently. Note: UL48 contracted to Ensign not Metroline
