Although I don't see Metroline winning the 63 they could easily bid for it from KC. A Metroline route in Peckham would look really odd. The first thing I thought when Metroline won the 30 was "Metroline in Hackney will be very odd"

EW and W will have not much choice anyway in the future if there was any sort of preference to TEs and TEHs, as eventually they will have to be withdrawn and currently all Metroline have been ordering are volvos so VWs, VWHs and VMHs are the future allocations for those garages Indeed, and although I prefer classic VWHs to frogfaces, it is still a culture shock knowing some have reached W ready for route 139, never mind their early run-in on route 210. I agree, for so long W has been so strongly associated with ADL products. It will look really odd seeing VWHs on the 16 and 332.

The first thing I thought when Metroline won the 30 was "Metroline in Hackney will be very odd" Since then, Metroline has won route 393 in nearby Clapton. Given the report that route 106 had 6 bidders, these may well have included Metroline from HT. Oh yes, coming back to route 30, and given that you like exceptional operators in places, this will have stood out for you as a result.

Metroline on the 106, what a very odd sight especially at Bethnal Green and Whitechapel.

The first thing I thought when Metroline won the 30 was "Metroline in Hackney will be very odd" For me it was so weird seeing Metroline in Mile End when they ran the 205. An even stranger one was when Metrobus ran a mobility route in Romford for a short time in the early 2000s.

Oh yes the 958 - I thought it finished with First though, when discontinued? Never once saw the 958 growing up in the 2000s, even though I reside 10 mins away from the Woodford terminus

Luckily for me I did managed to see a 958 once shorty before it was withdrawn and I think it was DMC41523 that was doing the 958 on that day when I saw it.

And although it was a commercial route, Metroline in Luton with the 714, then 84A. Or even Metroline in the hamlet of Tyttenhanger Green on Herts council contracted route 305!

Always did feel out of place seeing Metroline with the 205, it made a lot more sense when it went to ELBG. Obviously at the time BW was off route but that few stop extension meant it was on the route.

And Metroline got as far south as Tooting Broadway & Wimbledon with the 493 Metroline/Thorpes has a few mobility routes in SW London as well and the one most out of place would have been 965 that ran between Riverhill, Tolworth and Kingston
