The problem we have with remote sign on is parking facilities. Lack of information from Unite, as well as the fact Metroline have apparently been in talks with Unite for a long period of time which Unite have failed to mention. and as such like someone has said earlier in this group, Unite have been asleep on the wheel and are trying to fix this. we have is lack of parking, facilities to use, and if a driver fails to turn up, and was meant to sign on at GG, then Metroline end up losing either mileage or pushing the buses forward etc. Other drivers are to bring those remote sign on drivers duties to that location. What if they forget etc and will end up being in trouble etc. Yes a minority of drivers may live closer to the location, which is understandable. Now it may look all good for now with it all being Voluntary but a lot of drivers on the 139 are Loaned from HT mainly, AC, PV and EW. With HT it’s probably easier for Remote Sign On. As they say, it starts with one Route then will spread. Such as 168 and so. For now, I’m not bothered as much. Parking is a big issue, yes. Especially some drivers are coming from far. If facilities were improved then I’d be happy to do so.’ Toilet facilities are disgusting and that’s if we have any. Canteens not always the best and cramped out. Brent Cross is bad. Finsbury Park is bad. All cramped, toilets stink, ventilation doesn’t work properly but because you can hear it, it’s working apparently. Finsbury Park, your eating your food and driver is in the toilet and both smells combined....yes not great. Parking is also a problem at many garages and in some cases toilets and canteen facilities aren't great either. I suppose Golders Green for the 139 will suit a lot of drivers who use the tube.

Yes, I can agree.
But why ruin something we already have?

Movement on PB blinds. At least OME 2657/69 have 317 on the blinds now.

I've noticed BDE2613 doesn't have an iBus display on the upper deck, it just has a Bus Stopping display. Does anyone know if there's a reason behind it?

IIRC, this was the one that ADL held back for a while whilst they conducted trials/tests? It could be they simply forgot to fit one before sending it off. There has been other cases of buses running around without an I-Bus screen such as the time I boarded a DT Wright Cadet and it had no screen at all - it eventually had one fitted after someone told them.

That would make sense, I do wonder how these things slip by!

Yes, the ex 271 examples and a couple of the ex 266 examples Sorry wrong route I meant the 139? Are TEHs allocated to the 139? VWHs are allocated with one TEH as well, if you count up the vehicles at W, you should only get 24 VWHs!

This shouldn't turn into Toilet Of The Year competition, but if there is a more disgusting permanent facility than North Finchley Bus Station, I don't want to know about it. The temporary ones leave much to be desired also.🚽😟 Disgusting, absolutely disgusting. After driving the 112 the other day, I got shown where the toilets were and absolutely shambles.....

Reason we haven’t had a MMC on Route 139 as a lot of the drivers that are loaned are not type trained.
Still waiting on my turn but will need to be a duty where I bring the bus back to garage for either break or finished bus

Yep. ENL26 had it removed in the summer of 2018 and AFAIK it still might be like that now. Those 58-reg ENLs at TC always had unique ibus problems. 21 would always log off for no reason, neither the screen or announcements worked on 22, the left half of the screen on 24 didn't work, there was a mysterious horizontal line which went across the text on both the top and bottom lines of text on 25, the screen on 26 was missing and years ago the screen on 28 would regularly flicker.
