The Perivale West (PA) allocation for route 7 will be withdrawn and will be fully operational from Perivale East (PV) from 12 December and night route N7 will also transfer on the same date. The PVR of route 7 will change to 18 on the same date aswell. Did you mean PV? as route 7/N7 is operated from Perivale East.

Currently, PV operates the 7 and PA operates the N7 with a small 7 allocation which cross linked to the N7. The whole 7/N7 allocation will now be at PV from 12th

RIP evosetis on 7 and N7. Why, are they being cut up? What, does PV have its own evosetis? Because I thought they only come from PA.

The new contract for the 7 will begin on 19-June next year however TfL have asked for the new contract's schedule to be introduced from 12-Dec (as it saves a bus). That is why the N7 is being reallocated back to Perivale.

Interesting that, as with new bus-saving schedules elsewhere, londonbusroutes.net says that the 7's new timetable has been introduced "to reduce reliability". I think at present the 7 is one of, if not the, most reliable central London bus route.
I've also just noticed that the new timetable for the N7 on the site inadvertently says it operates "Northolt - East Acton - Russell Square"!

Evening all
I know this may have been asked already but what was the reason why the 7 got newer B5LH buses in 2017? I remembered it had those smiley faced versions in 2014.

I think its because for some reason the newer B5LHs failed the route test on the 17 so the 17 got older ones and the 7 got the newer ones.
