I honestly don't think PBs VWHs are going anywhere (And not because I saw YouTubers say so before anyone tries to troll me). With older TEs showing their age and London progressing to zero emission I think PB and EWs TE900s will both be gone this year. WN are already getting rid of their older DWs and replacing them with hybrids. And with various PVR cuts as well on multiple routes it wouldn't be a shock to me. WN are only moving out some of their DW's because there are leased ones in the fleet and because a number of hybrids have become spare through a combination of PVR cuts & the 259's LT conversion. We shall have to wait and see what Metroline decide to do but certainly, staying at PB is one of a number of options open to them (my own guess is they end up at PV given one of the 83 or 483 has a part VWH allocation already). How do you know which buses are leased or not?

Looks like 2235 is waiting around to take the 0045 instead of 0025 when it was supposed to depart. Bit of a scrappy finish from PB! This is one of the reasons why I'm glad PB are losing the route. I hope they lose the 307 and 384 as well. Hopefully the 307 will be won by Arriva Enfield again should be this year the contract is up for tender. How bad is the route since its been with Metroline?

Thanks to the gains of the 191 and 192 I don't believe E has the space for the 307. I think Sullivan could be a dark horse though. Otherwise can't see too much competition for Metroline.

How do you know which buses are leased or not? Because someone on here who works for Arriva and who has been a good source on many occasions stated that a particular batch is heading off lease. Outside of that, I've no idea.

NP could have space for at least one of those routes as the 153 has gone to RA. I went on the 192 a few weeks after Arriva won the route it seemed to take ages to get to Edmonton from Enfield

NP will be even more full than it already is after March.

How bad has it been? BTW, if many of the comments made about LTs poor manoeuvrability are anything to go by, I would worry about E's current bus of choice coping with standing arrangements at either end of the 307.

186 is well overdue and since they're older than other VWHs being freed up in the near future would make sense for them to go on the contract which starts the earliest. Metroline will probably move the VWHs There is also a batch of 08-reg TEs on U4 (and few elsewhere), ex First TE1573-81, these must be vulnerable as well as they are in 14th year But I agree TE935-941 are likely to be cascaded out

The 08 regs TEs are now spares with some 1573-1575 at W as spares. Metroline are weird when the 607 gained new VMHs they kept some of the 08 reg TEs that were allocated to it as UX for the U4 and they withdrew the younger 58 reg TEs (TE945-948 & 950-951). Well now they’ve been replaced.

So the 4 day routes at PA will land up a different garages:
31 at WJ, 90 at AH, 120 at SG and 297 at PV.
I wonder whether the same vehicles will be retained in each case or whether any reshuffles of VMH and VWH types will occur.

I think Arriva could still win route 307 from E but transfer route 121 to WN (or route 121 to AD and route 141 or 329 to WN).

I hope they lose the 307 and 384 as well. PB I find do incredibly well on 307,the performance under E previously left a lot to be desired. Very common to find 20 mins plus gaps in service from my memories. Can't comment much on 384.
