It would be nice if the 240 kept the older TEs but newer ones will be freed after the 204 is electrified so who knows.

Is it confirmed yet which route will move out of EW to make space for the 142/642?
Perhaps the 107 could move to PB, compensating for the 307 loss soon before?

Any thoughts on the new tender retains and gains? 83,114,483… Very good for Metroline. Still need to wait for the E2 and E8 results now...

Any thoughts on the new tender retains and gains? 83,114,483… Great for retaining large Metroline operation, especially route 83. Route 114 could have suited RATP and route 483 Abellio though.

I’m glad that Metroline retained 483. Being retained with only hybrids allows future maneuverability between garages if that was the case. Also I heard 83 will move to the new Athlon Road garage when opened and 483 will stay at PV.

I’m not 100% sure but I’m pretty sure it’ll stay at PV even though it’ll get electrics (been told 297 is going electric by a Metroline official). 7 and 245 will have to stay at PV because of their hydrogen buses. 187 & 487 will stay at WJ and H17 will go to WJ along with another route from Cricklewood to make room for two routes coming out of Edgware. As of now all that I’m aware of is 83 to end up at Athlon Road. Would make sense if it was an electric garage.

Is there much difference in mileage saved if 328 moves to WJ in comparison to it's current home at W I wonder? Esp as the route passes X, an crucial point if ML wants to keep the route next tender.

Assuming the 32 definitely goes to W, roughly creating enough space for the 142 - the 240 only has a PVR of 8, which might not be enough to fit the 251 as well - especially considering that electrification may reduce capacity. Not sure the 328 would be the best route to send to WJ. My guess would be either the 112 or 316 - with WJ being close to Stonebridge Park and White City. The 112 might be the best option of those two, as the 316 is up for tender soon and might be easier to retain from W.

Considering how close the Athon Road garage will be to PV, I wonder if it might act as an outstation of PV to some extent, perhaps in a similar situation to AH/SG or HT/KC?

Has it been suggested yet what vehicles the 384 will use for the new contract? I think it's the only TBC award that hasn't been clarified yet, and all other examples are getting new electrics. Perhaps some new Metrocities might be ordered, similar to the one used on the PB1? Or are the 62reg DEMs new enough for another contract?
