Since sun day there been roadworks next to Cricklewood Bus Garage not only causing so much traffic but it also close BS that where the drivers change over so do they change at Longy Way or Dollis Hill Lane

Ending 17 years of Metroline operation on the E6 tonight is G 202, worked by DE1162 LK11CWU. 0058 departure from Greenford Broadway*
*The route is currently suspended between Greenford Station and Greenford Broadway due to gas works.

Think he means in general and not limited to Metroline as quite a lot of 58/09 Metroline and ex- First buses in the same category, broadly speaking.😉 Hopefully if used for withdrawal, some stuff like DE1143 can stay, but the more horrid stuff can go.

Of these years the thing I don’t get is how did Metroline gain the 90 in the 90’s when it had no garage near it at the time and was operated at NW many years ago garage nowhere near the route. Before going to the closer Perivale garages PA and PV.

Before going to the closer Perivale garages PA and PV. North Wembley was a very low cost base so that probably factored into the bid.

Before going to the closer Perivale garages PA and PV. NW was only a 10-15 minute drive from Northolt. There are plenty of routes that are further than that in the current bus network. PV isn’t that much closer than NW was. It’s still the same driving time to Northolt and the travel time by Central line is longer as you have to factor in the time it takes to walk to Hanger Lane station to and from the garage
