NW was only a 10-15 minute drive from Northolt. There are plenty of routes that are further than that in the current bus network. PV isn’t that much closer than NW was. It’s still the same driving time to Northolt and the travel time by Central line is longer as you have to factor in the time it takes to walk to Hanger Lane station to and from the garage What about getting on the Central Line at Perivale Station? Perivale station was at PA’s doorstep. It’s now closed and I was talking about where 90 is based now which is PV which is halfway between Hanger Lane and Perivale station which requires about a 20 minute walk to either.

I didn't know there was any difference, I thought the two garages were a five minute walk between them at most!

Drivers after the morning run outs are shuttled back and forth from PV to Perivale station to take over the bus at Northolt. Most late duty’s keep the same bus for the duty or swap at PV after their break, hense you start seeing VWHs and VWs popping up in the late evening and night.

Don’t know if this has been mentioned or anyone’s noticed, the 14-reg VWHs that were withdrawn to be prepped for transfer to Manchester have been put back into service again 🤔 not entirely sure what’s prompted that

Why is there still only one VMS in service at WJ? Presumably because electrification hasn’t finished and that one VMS is probably only running on a portable charger

153 to Metroline! Any guesses on what garage will operate the route?
I assume they will continue going for Volvo BZLs for the route, or Wright Electroliner GB Kites.
Personally I hope the route gets Kites.

Personally I hope the route gets Kites. Considering Metroline's recent DD orders, they might also consider BELs for the 153, which would also give a common fleet with the 46?

We have established that the trio of Metroline gains of routes formerly at X - 28, 31 & 328 - are now with Metroline at different garages - WJ, HT & W respectively. They even have different vehicle types - VW, VMH & VWH respectively.
However, the plot thickens. While W is a traditional Metroline garage, HT was acquired from MTL and WJ from First.

Is 297 cleared for 10.9m? Because I was thinking BDE2752-2768 and WDE2791-2808 can swap garages,so that EW have WDE2770-2808,and WDE2906-2928 for 113/142/204,then PV have the BDEs for the 297?They are not enough for the TVR,so one can transfer from HT following the 17 LT conversion.
