This figured the best place to put this.
I may well have to start wearing my glasses all the time - so obviously including driving. What I'm wondering is if I need to inform DVLA or not as I didn't need them when I took any of my tests.
Thanks guys

I'm not sure as i did all my tests WITH glasses. All they asked was to make sure i could read a number plate with them on, which i suppose is all that's required really

I know that if you use them for the sight test then you have to use them for the test too - it's just this slight issue that I didn't but now have to. Also requires investment in a new motorcycle helmet but that's another story

If you intend to wear them whilst driving then yes, I have the other problem as I have to tell them I no longer require them As for motorcycle helmets, I found the ones that flip to be the best when I used to wear glasses

I have a full face one at the moment and somehow I doubt it will be much good now
