Ahh Thanks for confirming this cant wait to hear what BX is gonna order Hopefully Ees not really a fan of Metrodeckers They may be testing electric buses, but BX could still easily lose the 132, and the 180 too for that matter, so it may be that Go-Ahead will order nothing. Indeed, route 132 could be won by Arriva and route 180 by Stagecoach.

I have a question. If this has been answered before on the forum then my apologies. How come in 2017 when the 101 was awarded to Go ahead none of their buses were refurbished and the same thing for the 432 back in 2015 whereas when the 5 and X26 were awarded to Go ahead no time was wasted in getting those buses refurbished, same thing with the 131. Admittedly route 131 WVN and route X26 WVLs had non-standard interiors from their previous operations (route 259 was inherited when GA acquired NP from First; and WVLs came from EL routes and had red seating).

The commencement of route 456 is to be delayed until early 2021 and won't happen next month. Maybe it will start in February when the route W10 tender was due to expire?

Something I forgot to report earlier was that someone has put MG codes on MEC62...made for a strange sight when I saw it in Crystal Palace today. It had visited MG last week for attention by EvoBus

The ones with blue seats weren’t originally ELT buses, if I remember they were spares which were given ELT vinyls and retained a standard GAL interior. I think they came from the 249 after it was lost to Arriva, possibly? They were moved when the EL2 split into a separate schedule from the combined EL1/2 schedule.

They were from the 12 and moved over from Q IIRC for a PVR increase on the EL1 when it was extended from Thames View Estate to Barking Reach in 2013 though the combined schedule continued for three more years until 2016. The 249 batch ended up on the 101 and are still it's allocation to this day

Vjaska was right with the additional buses given to the ELT buses that came from the 12 and the 101 given the original 249 buses as in return the 249 before it went to Arriva was given the buses displaced from the 155.

Could be wrong but sure there are some with blue seats, grey backs and orange handrails always stand out when I see them on the 5.

I was just wondering why the 119 ended up losing its WHVs for a couple of weeks when the 405 was lost? I would have assumed the 202 took the older buses until it moved to Arriva? or does the 202 run a long a green corridor?
Also been meaning to ask is there any reason the Metrobus fleet has never been renumbered into the London style fleet codes? noticed MB garage has a mixture of fleet numbers SExxx or 7XX.

Yeah the 202 runs through the green corridor, the Catford corridor.

Apparently route 358 will still get new electrics but will be introduced in January 2022 according to londonbusroutes.net.
