With GAL taking the 463 tommorrow and if I am right they have gained back the WSs that they tried to get rid of. Weren't the WSs on the 463 originally ordered by GAL for the 192 but there was a mistake and they send those WSs back to the leaser and they replaced by brand new idential WS.

I’m sure I heard something about the engine or the gearbox being majorly faulty or something like that, so Wrightbus and the leasing company replaced them. I could be wrong but I’m sure that’s what I heard.

I think there was the notion that they were faulty but I’m sure someone cleared it up and stated they were on loan from Wright in order to fulfil the 192s contact at the time whilst the micro-hybrids were being built.

Now I think about it you might be right, I believe the batch used initially on the 192 weren’t compatible with the flywheel micro hybrid GAG were working with at the time but the later builds used on the 192 were. I think it was GKN that Go Ahead partnered with for them back in 2014.

Already the case to some extent, as WS46 (now at Uno on the 383) briefly returned to Go Ahead at NP. Plus the Streetlites used for the HereEast shuttle are part of the same batch. I expect these WSs will remain for the new contract, though the 463 can use longer vehicles if more capacity is ever needed.

I have to say the Ees do suit the 69. Looking forward to a ride very soon. I make no promises, but an Ee on route 69 is in the running to be my first London bus ride of 2021.

How standards have fallen, at one time a publicity or media photo would have been properly staged, now they are happy to use a photo with someone who can’t even tuck his shirt in I suppose it is a reflection of the official standards of presentation that Go Ahead have now stooped to.

Bearing in mind most vehicles and staff arrived overnight, where, when an how would this media photo be staged ... Now if the vehicles had been sitting around C for a long time beforehand ....

Just Go Ahead? Pretty much all firms. No one can force him to tuck in his shirt I’ve never seen anyone in management tell a driver to tuck in there shirt so overall who actually cares. Things like the above mentioned just reminds me of those bully school teachers who never knew when to shut up always nitpicking at students for ties and top button on shirt…

There has been times from since school my shirt has come out. I always had to be told to tuck your shirt in. I do not see the need for major publicity of it. It is only Twitter.

Or the sign of someone who is way too busy to be aware of his sartorial elegance..... well that's always my excuse.

Yes he could have made a bit of effort, I suppose regular users of the route won't be aware of any change?
