I expect you are right; 38-40 and 42 at NP already for Here East but in due course there will be a common pool with the 444. Also 36 and 49 will eventually follow on, although they may be impounded for some time if police investigations into the fatal collision are ongoing. Pretty sure Here East is being run from DS or still SI as I spotted a SE running light there a few evenings ago. Ah you have me wondering now - perhaps someone who knows for definite can confirm? I suppose it is also possible that NP will loan SEe to SI/DS when required.

I see the 2/N2, 36 have returned to serving Terminus place in Victoria. Is the N136 serving that stop too?
Any reason why the 185 has not returned to serve by that stop?

LOTS TLB 685 also lists SE 38,39,40 and 42 as transfers to DS which makes sense as the garage plenty of space for charging and not far from Stratford.

There was a post by Hants and Dorset Trim on Facebook this morning which had an interior shot of SEe 20 which confirmed that the 507/521 buses have retained their internal layout. I personally would also have them upseated, just think better, oh well.
And then that defeats the whole point of the Red Arrow network! I imagine usage is starting to pick up on these services now so the extra standing capacity is probably needed especially with the PVR cuts.

Red Arrows have ran with vehicles with mostly standing areas for years and years and years now. Why change that?

The point of the Red Arrow routes is to have the maximum amount of space to carry the maximum amount of people because of the hugely intense loads (well it was the case pre covid anyway). The routes are so short you’re not on the bus for long so you don’t need to sit down really, the more seats you have just reduces the capacity

Do you know yet are the MHV's from the 63 will be transferring to Newcross when the 63 is lossed to Abellio next month. Not too sure, but I think it was suggested they could be used for the 321 or 436. Could there be enough MHVs to possibly cover both routes fully? There's already those transferred from AF, and the 436 was recently cut. Some did question the choice of moving MHVs from AF, rather than a more familiar type, though this might actually reduce the number of types at NX eventually. It seems the G2 WHVs are possibly all leaving, and I'm not sure the small number of G3 WHVs are needed anymore. The 171/172 each had a minor PVR cut, and a few EHs recently transferred from Q - so there should now be enough MMC EHs to fully cover the 36/171/172/343. Then if MHVs were to be introduced on the 321/436, this also replaces the WVLs and non-MMC EHs - leaving only 2 DD types at NX (plus LTs).

Just notice that 971 is now listed on Chartwell Bus Sales, so think that's really the end of this with Go-Ahead?

Just notice that 971 is now listed on Chartwell Bus Sales, so think that's really the end of this with Go-Ahead? I do think so and they are listing as a choice of 4 59 reg Scania Omnicitys available for £25,000 each so it does look like 970-973 are 'finally' being withdrawn.

I wonder if this really is the end
