Surely if ADL made an E200EV with a pantograph to meet the 358's mileage requirements then they would also face the same issue? As the main problem is the charging infrastructure. Not sure if the buses are being manufactured slowly or just being stored over on the continent?

I agree. I hope these really are a one off for London. Nothing to like about how they look. Almost certainly a one-off. The whole charing fiasco will have been an embarrassment for those vehicles and as the years march on battery technology will catch up eventually for the longer routes To be fair that isn’t really Irizars fault. My understanding is that a lot of it is related to delays with land and network rail etc but it hasn’t been directly linked to vehicle delays.

Just seen it, absolutely hideous, doesnt even look like a TFL compliant vehicle. It looks hideous but have to give them some credit - the interior wasn’t bad

Three Questions What happens to the MECs when the 108 & 358 convert to EVs? No more in London? What happens to the B9TLs at BX when the 89 converts to Hybrids? How long are we blessed to have WVN23 on the 476 for (roughly)? For the last question, probably still waiting for another MHV to come across. No one wants to drive the WVN to DS, take an Uber to Q to collect an MHV to replace it, as it's just one bus, it's a quirky Aberration to add to that other thread like the 66 plate WS on the 232 with her 19 plate sisters

It's also the reason why there are extra Ees on the 57 temporarily as some of the WHVs at AL are off for refurbishment.

I hope the refurbishments start soon on the 147 and 368 buses! both contracts are a year into the new tenders.

I saw a picture of an EH that had just returned from the Trim with the old GAL logo, and I thought "EH?" Some of the MHVs on the 476 could do with a refurb like the EHVs. London Central buses look out of place in North London

Volvo demonstrator MVB1 was reported at the Album Bus Conference last week, the bus presently back with Volvo for ongoing bus event tours. Presumably the trials at Sutton are concluded as it's said to only have been for around five weeks There is always a chance it could go back once the Volvo tour is over. If so hopefully for other routes/depots to trial it out on

Just seen it, absolutely hideous, doesnt even look like a TFL compliant vehicle. It looks hideous but have to give them some credit - the interior wasn’t bad It looks fine imo but really weird as on the continent it's mostly a BRT bus (often in the articulated variant)... with all-door boarding on BRTs which helps with the narrow door at the front.
