They're based at the same garages so all electrics will be interchangeable, as is currently the case for 163/164/413. Likely, when the 131 electrifies too, its electrics will appear on the 57 and 157. I don't think that the 157's own batch of electrics has entered service entirely yet, so route 157 is temporarily using whatever vehicles are spare, these being the 57 electrics (with the 57 using the 213's electrics, the 213 using the 151's electrics and the 151 STILL using diesels!) None have entered at AL but two of the batch are in service elsewhere - one at BX and one at MB Those two are currently been used as spares, so could turn up anywhere in theory that has power, they aren't on tour.

Just done an E2E on the 358, now gotta say it is on my top 10 fave route list even tho it takes absolutely ages going the long way round! Done the 358 from Elmers End to Orpington the other day, sure was a drag

Been keeping an eye on the 439’s SEe’s over the past few days and I’ve noticed that for at least the past three days, SEe330 has been subbed off the 439 whilst SEe329 has been off the road since 17th May having been subbed on the 450 and is still yet to appear on the 439. Wonder if there are a few teething issues going on there?
SEe331 meanwhile seems to have been performing fine so far.

I got lucky and ran into E121 this morning (infuriatingly slow driver despite getting delayed by traffic and a temp light + regulated twice but that’s besides the point!) and I noticed that the 152 and 164 weren’t on the blinds sequence even though I thought they were, it went 118-155-163-200-270 and then back to 57.

No 280? Only half blind are for route at the garage then...

Strange, the 280 was on the blind set less than 2 months ago. Maybe you blinked and missed it? I don’t believe the 152 has never been on the AL double decker set as it doesn’t have any decker workings. Neither does the 164 anymore but I believe it is still on the WHV set but not the Es.

Sorry, I didn’t mean the 280 was missing, I meant it went up to 270 and then returned back to 57, I’m 99% sure the 280 is on there! The 152/164 confused me because I can recall WHVs and WSDs working them both but now that I think about it I’m not sure about the Es.

Double deckers aren't supposed to be used on the 152 anymore due to low trees on the Pollards Hill loop AFAIK. Not sure why the 164 isn't on them though.

I know about the trees but it confused me since other deckers still have their blinds. I’ve just remember now that the 152 came to AL months after the 57, and the 57’s buses never had a full blind replacement which must be why it’s missing, and I guess the 164 might have been at A or partially so at the time. The 164s lack of DDs ever since the SEes came is a bit odd like the 219.

Took a ride on SEe4 on the 444 yesterday, looks like the iBus screen has some sort of BIOS computer glitch, it had frozon on an "American Megatrends" splash screen with lots of black and white text

As none of the 152, 164 or 219 have decker allocations unlike the 163 it makes sense as to why they weren’t included in the blind set. Clearly that changed when the WVNs arrived as the 164 is on the updated blindset for the WHV/WVN.

Even then, I still find it odd they didn’t include the 164 at first given they’re perfectly happy including other single decker routes on blinds at other garages. The 152 makes sense and I believe the 219 also had a similar policy in place to keep deckers off the route despite seeing many PVL workings over the years

Shoutout to the driver of E118 on 131 who wins the award for the slowest driver in existence! This guy was doing about 5 - 10mph the whole way and arrived into Fairfield Bus Station +37 minutes late 🔥
